How do you say things in past tense in Korean? It’s very simple for most verbs. For example, many Korean verbs end in 하다. Just change 하/해 into “했”, and conjugate the rest in the same way as you would do in the present tense:
사랑해요 (I love you) => 사랑했어요 (I loved you)
사랑하는데 (I love you, but) => 사랑했는데 (I loved you, but)
So simple, so regular, compared to some other languages that conjugate according to 1st/2nd/3rd persons, singular/plural, or even gender!
